The unforgettable protagonists of the legendary 200 Miglia come to Imola for the third edition of 200 Miglia Revival, which met a growing success in the last two years.
Champions who made the world motorcycling history will entertain the public on the same motorcycles which allowed them to write legendary chapters. The highlight is the traditional parade with riders lined up on the starting grid, ready to perform a few laps. 200 Miglia Revival also offers theme-based exhibitions and meetings with the champions available for autographs and photos, to revive a glorious motorcycling past.

Thanks of 'opportunity you give me to publish what I did to my Ducati.
Attached are some photos of the work in detail, and there are many more than you choose what you think are the best.
Starting point is a hyper 1100s in 2008.The evolution begins at soft with full Termignoni exhaust tail under double filter and a dedicated ECU.
Then I pushed more in terms of aesthetics buying the full set of fairings in carbon and at that time came out of the special luis bike that inspired me to develop my own.
In short, everything I've done, everything you see both mechanical and body I did, except for the seat cover....

Mr Rob Ward brought his ailing Darmah to us in March of this year with some good ideas and imagination. This machine no longer resembles the machine it was.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1Z67YZLy0s
The modifications to this machine are endless. Twin under seat pipes, FZR1000 front suspension and brake assemblies all fully polished and overhauled. New bearings throughout and a rear sprocket to suit the FZR rear wheel. A billet rear calliper retainer, holds the polished rear calliper in position, without the need for a tourque bar. Rear caliper is from an RG500, polished and pistons sleeved. Braided line is used throughout this unique hand made motorcycle. 40 mm carbs feed the re-built 860cc desmo motor, rebuilt at H.M.R. The fuel tank currently under construction at H.M.R. along with the seat will house a billet aluminium Newton filler cap, and twin taps feed the blackened dellorto’s. Chain-guard, breather, handle-bars, dash cluster all made here at H.M.R. Switch clusters in polished alloy resided once on a GT750 Suzuki. A Tommaselli quick grip connects the two cables to the accelerator pump equipped carb’s. One tweak of this throttle has you falling for the V-twin all over again.

Ducati Monster 900 Cafè Racer
(Google translator :-( sorry!)
This is a bike that you have not seen on any blog / magazine / website blah blah blah.
It is indeed an achievement that has seen many km but has never been immortalized in photos that are shot on the web.
My friend Alessandro has created this special inspired by the refined motorcycle racing for years, watching with admiration the photographs of Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari.
Dover is the fact that the livery of choice for the bike was made before he saw on the market the Ducati Sport Classic Paul Smart, Alexander had an idea that must have also had to Borgo Panigale ... or who knows, maybe someone has the factory saw his bike around ...
This Monster has been realized almost entirely in the garage from the "handyman" hands of the owner.
It has several modifications to the drive unit and chassis. You'll also note the presence of a codon seat cover that can be removed in seconds leaving the bike with the seat two people.
Here are brief details:
Ducati Monster M 900
78.7 Hp at 7124 rpm / 8.5 mkg at 5216 rpm
Comp pistons
Test work
Flywheel lightened by 0.5 kg
cam St2
Valves elongated (stellite)
K & N filter
Artisan Exhaust (made of a pipe to the stove and the final part of billet)
Handlebars 851 seeds
Triumph instruments
37-Crown
Codon fiberglass
Seat upholstered in leather and carved for a driving position more suited to the tastes of the owner
Livery-Smart Spaggiari

Scroll down below the Italian to see the English translation on the link. Lots of photos there as well:
The bike was born on an injected 900 ss. The first change concerned the frame. The back was cut to shorten the bike. In the frame latter was kept the trend of the top tube, while the bottom has been cut and bent both upwards and inwards to be joined to the top so that you can tighten the rear to accommodate the tail width much smaller than the original . These parts were machined in such a way as not to perceive no welding or modifications, both to the touch at the sight, so that the frame preserve a unique line in the lower tube to give aesthetic lightness.

The Story Of Malattia
Once upon a time there was bad MH900e called Hailey …… ?
OK, the creation of Malattia came about in an unusual way, in some ways an unfortunate string of events and some character building moments but now with a happy ending.
The history started way back when it was seemingly a normal MH900e, as time progressed so did the failures of components, I won’t go into much detail but it was enough to classify the bike as a Lemon.
This was very unfortunate and to be fair was the big turning point for developing a big dislike for the bike, even as beautiful as she was she was like the supermodel girlfriend that looked great in public but kept cheating on you....

Lots of photos on this link of an amazing private collection that it was possible to visit in Italy for many years. It was quite a feat of Carlo Salterelli, collecting over the years almost one of every model and making them available on display, first in a beautiful museum and later in a warehouse. Sadly, the collection will now be scattered far and wide, it's scheduled to go to auction in Monaco in 2012. For some great photos of the original museum, click the link above.....
